I have recently gained my City and Guilds Diploma in Stitched Textiles at Dudley College, where I was the College's nominee for a Medal of Excellence.

I have an enthusiasm for historical textiles. My own work is often abstract, using manipulation to create surfaces for hand/machine embroidery.

As a member of Textile Connection I have learnt a great deal about stitched textiles and made new friends. Membership offers an opportunity to share my love of design and stitch with like-minded people. I love to do visual research and to create work for exhibition.
