In my work I seek to convey my love of strong colour and wish to record personal memories of scenes and places.

In the pieces entitled 'Metamorphosis' the blossom opening in spring represents new life beginning and as the petals fall life ends but the spirit rises as a butterfly.

I use a mixture of hand and machine embroidery onto hand dyed calico, silk, organzas and silk papers with pottery or beads to embellish, and often produce 3D pieces.

Current work is based on the artifacts at the museum in Warwick.
